Which side of the wrist gets carpal tunnel?
The carpal tunnel is on the palm side of the wrist. When patients get carpal tunnel syndrome, the problem is on the palm surface of the hand and wrist.
The palm side of the wrist is also called the flexor side, where the flexor tendons are located. These tendons run through the carpal tunnel along with the median nerve.
